Go Flames! My old ass will be in bed by the puck drop. Really enjoyed the games out East.

Edit. I am going to be a wiener and post Flames news before Trevor can.

1) Former Calgary Flames coach Bill Peters was fired by KHL team Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg on Tuesday.

2) Valimaki sent down to Stockton. My understanding is he has to pass through waivers. Am I correct?

Sorry Trevor.

Best part about living on the West Coast. Getting the early and late games at reasonable hours.

There are a lot of upsides living on the West Coast.

You affected at all by the flooding?

We were pretty lucky in this part of the Island compared to the Mainland. Were without power for 12 hours and a couple of road closures while the waters subsided. Aside from a few shortages on shelves and gas rationing we haven't suffered too much.

But man, that first storm puked more rain than I've ever seen fall in a short amount of time. Almost Biblical. Every ditch was overflowing and looking like small streams meandering over the roads. Really though, again, not even close to the nastiness the Mainland is going through. Just brutal.

I thought he had to clear too... not sure why it took so long to send him down and get him playing if no risk to lose him?

They were probably hoping he'd do something to earn his way into the lineup since he has a one-way contract.

Also, if he has an attitude problem, you don't really want him around the rest of the prospects if he's going to be sulky and act like he's better than everyone else.

Valimaki must have farted on the team bus. Sutter making a point with him?

Jeez man, hope Mother Nature chills the duck out. Was talking with a friend in K-town and they are expecting more flooding soon. (frank)ed up.

There was never a correction from Valimaki about his comments in that the article. I imagine that they sat in there him down and thoroughly explain what he needs to work on and make sure it sunk in?

Best thing for him is to work on his game and get top minutes.
